Kaiser Permanente now offering Medicare plan in Lane County

Enrollment beginning October 15, for coverage starting January 1, 2021.

Kaiser Permanente Medicare members will have access to more than 700 trusted Lane County, Oregon, providers.

PORTLAND, Ore. —Medicare-eligible residents in Lane County will soon have access to Kaiser Permanente’s unique blend of high-quality, affordable health care combined with award-winning health plan coverage. Kaiser Permanente is proud to announce it will begin offering a Medicare health plan in Lane County, with enrollment starting October 15. Coverage will be effective January 1, 2021.

Kaiser Permanente members in Lane County will have access to the full range of health care benefits plus services at Kaiser Permanente Chase Gardens Medical Office, at 360 S. Garden Way in Eugene. In addition to the Kaiser Permanente team, our comprehensive network of contracted specialists also gives Medicare members access to more than 700 trusted Lane County providers — such as PeaceHealth, Pacific Women’s Center, Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, and Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. (Some specialty care services are accessed through referral and prior authorization. Our partnership with PeaceHealth includes the Santa Clara, RiverBend Pavilion, Cottage Grove, and Florence locations. Not all providers at these locations are part of our network.)

Kaiser Permanente’s Medicare health plan offers comprehensive medical services and benefits beyond Original Medicare benefits, including Part D prescription drug coverage.
